Headbanger Trail Challenge

HEADBANGER TRAIL CHALLENGE

On September 24, 2011 the new Headbanger Trail Challenge took place in Radium Hot Springs. The runners could not have asked for better weather - sunny skies and temperatures in the high 20's made for a beautiful day to run the trail.  The route moved out of  Kootenay National Park and instead wound its way through Radium, down into the Sinclair Creek Trail area, and off towards north Radium and the Elk Park Ranch subdivision lands.

New to the run this year was the first ever family friendly 3km walk/ run.

The day was topped off with prizes and a bbq.
