Adventure Radium is a youth summer camp program which runs in July and August as follows:

• Every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday;
• Start date for 2012 - July 3 until August 23;
• Ages 5 - 7/8 - 9:30 am to noon;
• Ages 8/9 and up - 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm;
• Fees: $5 drop in fee/child; $25/child summer fee; $50 family fee (3 or more children) for the summer;
• Payment (cash, cheque or debit - only at the Village Office) can be made at the time of registration, or in advance at the Village Office;
• Meet at the Radium Skating Rink;
• Registration forms and Parent Guide are available online or at the Village Office;
• Make sure your child has a hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, water and a small snack.

Some highlights from Adventure Radium 2011!

UPPER WETLANDS CANOE TRIP -

Columbia River Outfitters of Athalmer, along with Kara, Braeden Lauren and Ashlee, took 8 kids on a guided, interpretive tour of the Columbia River Wetlands. While the day started out cool and foggy, the sun soon broke and the kids were treated to a spectacular morning on the water. Thanks to Byron and our guide, Robbie, at Columbia River Outfitters! We will be back next year!!

ADVENTURE RADIUM 2011 OVERNIGHT CAMPOUT

The 2011 overnight camp took place at Redstreak Campground, in beautiful Kootenay National Park. 16 campers joined the leaders and support staff for a night of fun and games, topped off with a magic show and of course SMORES! It was a great adventure and many of the kids were already reserving their 'spots' for next year's campout. 

WATER FUN DAY AND BBQ WIND UP - AUGUST 2011

What a perfect way to end the 2011 season for Adventure Radium. The weather was hot and sunny and the kids had a blast on the water slide, throwing water balloons and ending it all with a bbq lunch, games and prizes for all. Thank you to our wonderful leaders, Kara, Braeden and Ashlee for providing such a great program all summer. We hope to see you all in 2012!
