Mayor & Councillors

Mayor Clara Reinhardt

My husband and I moved to Radium Hot springs in 2005 upon his retirement, and have felt at home from the beginning. My current job with the Canadian Red Cross allows me the flexibility to commit to this role in a very active way. I enjoy most outdoor activities and have met many of you on my daily walks. Some of my other background includes being on a School Council in Whitehorse for 2 terms, 2 terms on Radium Council, licensed EMR, building management, lifeguard/instructor,  airline agent, real estate and a wide variety of volunteer groups. The diversity of experience came as a result of living in 4 western Provinces and 2 Territories. I am a current member of the Radium Sunrise Rotary Club. Reg and I have three adult children who are working and living in Alberta, but love to visit Radium whenever they can.

I look forward to hearing from you at clara [dot] reinhardt [at] radiumhotsprings [dot] ca

Councillor Ron Verboom

I have been a resident of Radium Hot Springs for over 30 years and am proud to have served on the original town council from 1990 to present, missing only one term during that period. I have served as director on various boards and committees over the years and am currently the council rep for the Radium Public Library Board. I am an avid runner and have been Race Director of the Headbanger Trail Challenge running event held the past 6 years here in Radium. I am happily married to my wife, Donna, of 32 years, and have two wonderful children, Kelsey and Taylor. I can be reached by email at rdverboom [at] gmail [dot] com.

 Councillor Karen Larsen

I moved to Radium with my husband and four children from Dawson City, Yukon.  Radium was one of the places my family would visit on our camping vacations and we always thought it would be a beautiful place to raise a family.  I bring with me a lot of experience with living and working in a small community that I hope I can use in a positive way with being on Council. I worked with the Klondike Visitor Association, I was a member on the Dawson Women's Shelter, a member of the Dawson Recreation Council, a volunteer ambulance attendant for years and the Dawson City Aquatics Manager. I am now a member of the Radium Events Committee. I also work for Elk Park Ranch as an Events Coordinator, and you may also see me at Meet on Higher Ground Coffee Shop. I hope to be of great service to this Village and look forward to my term learning and meeting more of the wonderful people that make this Village what it is.

Councillor Todd Logan

When my wife and I got married, we chose to buy our first (and so far only!) house in Radium Hot Springs. We have lived here since 1993 and have raised two great kids in this Village. I joined the Radium Volunteer Fire Department in 1993, and continue to be an active member. I first ran for council in 2011. This will be my second term (2014-2018). I  currently sit on the Columbia Valley Recreation Board and the fire department committee. I look forward to my 2nd term on council, and the committment I will bring to serve the residents of this Village.  I can be reached at logan [dot] todd1 [at] gmail [dot] com.

Councillor Tyler McCauley

My family and I moved to Radium Hot Springs in 2011 after searching for small business which we could stay at home and raise our 2 boys. We settled on this amazing community. I decided to join council to do my best to help show the rest of the world what a lovely area we live in and do my best to assist with decisions that are made in our small town.
