Karen Sharp is the Chief Financial Officer for the Village of Radium Hot Springs.  Under her guidance, the Financial Services Department is responsible for the financial well being of our Village.  The Department looks after the financial component of the following:
 

• Accounts Receivable (Building Permits, Development Invoices, etc.)
• Accounts Payable
• Taxes
• Utilities
• Budget
• FInancial Plan
• Audit, in accordance with Public Sector Accounting Principles
• Business Licences
• Animal Licences
• Insurance

All Village spending is governed by a 5-Year Financial Plan that must be approved by Council  before May 15 of each year. The Financial Plan must adhere to the guidelines for municipalities as set out in the Local Government Act and Community Charter.
